Bald Mountain Golf Course in Lake Orion just NE of the Palace of Auburn Hills is one of the Detroit Metro area's most traditional layouts, designed in 1929 by Wilfred Reid. Bald Mountain Golf features a Championship 18 hole course and a 9 hole Executive course which are both good for walking or riding.
